The SalesCatalog is the online archive of our film production company Filmspektakel GmbH. We use it to offer the majority of the time-lapse materials we’ve collected over the years for licensing for film projects, events, websites, and more. For more information about our film production company, please visit our website at https://www.filmspektakel.com.
On this site, we only sell entire clips – just as you see them in the SalesCatalog. The fixed price is for the whole clip, but you can of course edit the video as desired. Since the amount of work involved in any given clip bears no relation to the clip’s length, we unfortunately do not offer a discount in cases where only shorter parts of clips are desired.
Our licensing model stipulates that a time-lapse clip is limited to one project, but that it may be used an unlimited number of times in that project. This means that you can use “Time-lapse clip 1”, for example, as often as desired in your “Film 1”, but if you plan to use the same “Time-lapse clip 1” in another film project, the clip must be licensed again for the new project. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Yes. A free, lower resolution, watermarked test download is available for every video listed on this site. Simply right-click “Download sample” → “Save target as” to start the download of the preview file.
Videos are provided as .mov files in Apple ProRes 422 codec in the specified resolution. Please contact us for other formats and resolutions.
Given the number of videos on our platform, you sometimes might not be able to find exactly what you’re looking for. We know our material best, so simply contact us and we’ll help you with your search. If we’re unable to find the appropriate footage, we can shoot it for you in line with your requirements.
All of our clips can always be used anywhere in the world and in any media, but are limited to use in just one project. This means that you can use “Time-lapse clip 1”, for example, as often as desired in your “Film 1”, but if you plan to use the same “Time-lapse clip 1” in another film project, the clip must be licensed again for the new project. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Since the complexity of clips varies greatly depending on the relevant footage, recording method, and recording location, our prices reflect the time and cost involved (equipment costs, flights, filming permits, etc.).
Yes, you’ll be sent your invoice by e-mail once you’ve made your purchase. It will also then be available for download in your customer area.
This archive contains some footage (such as Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna) that is only authorized for editorial use and that requires authorization from the relevant institution for use in product ads. The user is responsible for obtaining the relevant authorization for the footage. In such cases, it’s highly probable that we have a contact person for the footage in question. Simply contact us and we’ll be more than happy to help put you in touch with them.
Clips that require additional authorization for non-editorial use are usually clearly marked as such with the words “Editorial use only”. Information about the release statuses is without guarantee and customers are responsible for ensuring they do not infringe the rights of others.
You’re welcome to order the desired clips on account. Please contact us and tell us the relevant IDs (e.g. 20150036), which in each case can be found on the right-hand side below the video. We’ll then send you a download link which you can click to download the desired clips, as well as an invoice including all the relevant details for paying by bank transfer.
Yes. To encourage larger orders (5+ videos), we offer a discount; the discount offered will depend on the size of your order. Please call or e-mail us (office [at] filmspektakel.at) for more information about this.
